Content Creation & Streaming Policy

Live Your Life RP welcomes content creators who wish to stream or record gameplay for platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and other media outlets. We’re proud to support creators who showcase our community in a positive and immersive light.

General Guidelines

• You are welcome to record, stream, and publish content from the server, provided it follows all server rules and respects the RP environment.
• Content must not include rule-breaking, exploit use, or anything that could harm the reputation of LYL RP or its members.
• Creators are expected to maintain RP standards while recording or streaming.

Consent & Media Usage

By joining and playing on Live Your Life RP, you consent to the use of your voice, character likeness, and in-game actions in public media formats. This includes but is not limited to:

• YouTube videos
• Twitch streams
• Promotional clips
• Social media content

Your participation in the server constitutes your waiver of rights to file claims against Live Your Life RP, its staff, affiliated creators, or any publishing entity regarding the use of such content.

Streaming Policy

Live Your Life RP encourages community members to stream and share their RP experiences. Streaming is a great way to showcase the server and build connections—no prior approval is needed to go live, but there are important guidelines to follow.

General Streaming Guidelines

• Anyone may stream from the server at any time.
• All streamers must follow the same Recording & Content Creation Guidelines outlined by LYL RP.
• Streams must reflect the immersive and respectful nature of the server—no rule-breaking, trolling, or out-of-character behavior.
• Stream titles, overlays, and chat interactions should not misrepresent the server or its members.

Recording & Content Creation Policy

Live Your Life RP supports creators who want to share their experiences on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and other media outlets. Recording is allowed at any time while on the server, but all content must follow the guidelines below to protect the integrity of the community and its members.

Representation

• Do not claim to be a staff member or official representative of the LYL Community unless you hold an official role.
• You may identify yourself as a community member or player on the Live Your Life RP server.

Titles, Descriptions & Attribution

To help promote the community and maintain transparency:

• Include “Live Your Life RP” in your video title, description, or tags.
• You must include a link to the official LYL website: https://liveyourliferp.com
• You’re encouraged to link to our social media platforms:

Logo Usage

• The official Live Your Life RP logos are copyright protected and may not be used in thumbnails or other media unless explicitly approved.
• You may use the distributed logo, found in #server-announcements under the pinned messages on your streams, if you wish.
• Logo use is strictly limited to thumbnails for videos recorded on the Live Your Life RP server. Any other use or distribution is prohibited.

Content Standards

• All recorded content must follow server rules. Trolling, rule-breaking, or metagaming for entertainment purposes is not allowed.
• Content should reflect the immersive, respectful, and realistic nature of the server.

Respect & Conduct

• If you’re upset or frustrated, take a moment before posting. Do not use your platform to attack or defame the LYL Community, its staff, or fellow players.
• Constructive feedback is welcome. Personal attacks, drama, or toxic behavior are not.
